Our Mission Statement
To create a beautiful, comfortable environment where our clients come to receive the most effective treatments; guiding them to products that deliver the most effective benefits, offering a wealth of information, and interacting with a professional staff that truly cares about our client’s needs and desires.
The Aesthetic Center is a clinical skin center, not a medical office. We do not accept insurance or submit for billing insurance companies. Payment for services are rendered at check out. We respect your privacy and make every attempt to protect confidential information. All client records are kept confidential and secure, however we are not a HIPPA compliant facility.
Meet Our Professionals
Lisa L. Brown
President of Operations
Lisa brings over 30 years of experience in the cosmetic industry to The Aesthetic Center. She was trained in makeup application and skincare by Lancome’ International, where she worked as a market and special events artist for 15 years in the east coast region.
In 2000, Lisa became certified as a permanent makeup specialist at the prestigious “Permanent Makeup Clinic” in Scottsdale, Arizona. To date, she has performed over 15,000 successful procedures of eyebrows, eyeliner and lip liner with full color.
Dr. Joanna Robertson
Medical Director
Dr. Joanna Robertson is a Board-Certified Doctor of Nursing Practice with specializations in Family Medicine and Mental Health. She is dedicated to providing holistic, individualized, and evidence-based care to her patients, focusing on both primary and preventive health. In addition to running her clinic, she also serves hospitalized patients in the local hospital, ensuring continuity of care across settings.
As the Medical Director of The Aesthetic Center, Dr. Robertson brings her expertise and commitment to patient wellness into the aesthetics space. She also leads Beachfront Internal Medicine and Mental Health Clinic, a comprehensive “one-stop” wellness practice offering services in primary care, psychiatry, and dermatology.
With a strong background in public service and a passion for patient-centered care, Dr. Robertson is driven to make healthcare more accessible and convenient. Her dedication has positioned her as a trusted and growing presence in private practice, offering exceptional care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Tina Baker
Front Desk Office Manager
Tina is a Lewes Native and a devoted beach girl (always wearing her sunscreen… Of course) She graduated with a hospitality degree and has over 20 years’ experience in the restaurant business. She helped her husband open his businesses; Henlopen City Oyster House and The Blue Hen in Rehoboth. Motherhood changed her pace; in 2015 she received her Aesthetician License and worked for several years at an award-winning salon and spa. She has such a passion for customer service and loves seeing people get true results from skincare. She wanted to utilize her skills in both fields and has joined our team as Front Desk Office Manager.
Haley Holloway

Aesthetic Injector
Haley is an Aesthetic Nurse with a passion for injectables and a keen eye for enhancing natural beauty. Drawing from her extensive background in critical care nursing and cosmetology, she seamlessly merges artistic sensibility with medical precision, delivering remarkable results. Haley specializes in providing clients with personalized and transformative experiences, guiding each individual toward achieving their aesthetic aspirations with safety and efficacy at the forefront.
Committed to advancing her education, Haley is currently pursuing her degree to become a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Dermatology.
She continually attends advanced training at nationwide aesthetic conferences, staying abreast of the most current techniques in evidence-based practices in aesthetic medicine.
Paige Van Allen
Licensed Clinical Aesthetician
As a Senior Clinical Aesthetician with 35+ years of experience, Paige brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to The Aesthetic Center. With licenses in both Maryland and Delaware, she offers exceptional skin care services to a wide range of clients. Paige is a ZO Skin Health Expert, specializing in the correction of rosacea, acne, melasma, and sun damaged skin. She utilizes medical-grade products to custom tailor at-home skincare routines so patients can continue to achieve the best results possible and is certified in multiple laser modalities, Broadlight treatments, Radio Frequency, and Plasma Fibroblast technology. Paige also has master-level training in chemical peels and is dedicated to helping clients achieve their best skin.
Sara Green
Licensed Master Aesthetician
Permanent Makeup Technician
Sara received her aesthetic training at Dermal Science International in Reston, Virginia in 2014. One of the only Licensed Master Aestheticians in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia, she has advanced credentials for cosmetic laser (including laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments) and aesthetics. Along with her medical expertise, Sara is also certified in permanent makeup and specializes in eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip liner, making her a well-suited member of The Aesthetic Center team!
Dawn A. Lamb

Dawn has been an accomplished RN in Delaware for 25+ years, starting her career in Wilmington at St. Francis Hospital with experience in all departments, specializing in Obstetrics for 15 years, then moving onto outpatient surgery operative care. In her 40’s Dawn developed skin Cancer which piqued her interest in skincare leading her to follow her true passion and furthering her education becoming a Licensed Aesthetician as well as her training and certification as an Aesthetic Injector. Dawn’s true passion is dedicated to providing individualized skincare to address each client’s concerns and needs so that they may obtain optimal results in order to meet their skin care goals.
Julie Vincent
Licensed Aesthetician
Julie is a local Delawarean who attended The University of South Florida for her degree in English. Following her relocation to Rehoboth Beach, she returned to school to study Aesthetics at the Delaware Learning Institute of Cosmetology, as well as getting advanced certifications in Laser from the National Laser Institute in AZ.
Julie is also one of the only known Oncology trained aestheticians in the state. She has spent the past 5 years at a local award winning salon and spa where she strived to give her clients the best clinical skincare treatments.
Julie joins the Aesthetic Center with a true passion to offer the latest advancements in skincare to ensure optimal results for all of her clients.
Ashley Santone

Meet Ashley, one of the Aesthetic Center's talented licensed laser techs, permanent makeup artists, and aestheticians. Originally from Philadelphia and Delaware County, Ashley moved to Delaware in 2013 to pursue her passion for the beauty industry. She received her permanent makeup training at the prestigious Nouveau Contour and studied aesthetics at the Delaware Learning Institute of Cosmetology.
With over 15 years of customer service experience, Ashley prides herself on going above and beyond to help her clients achieve their desired looks. She understands that every client is unique and works closely with them to develop a personalized treatment plan.
In addition to her expertise in permanent makeup and aesthetics, Ashley is also a multi-laser certified professional. She specializes in laser hair and tattoo removal, using the latest technology to provide safe and effective treatments.
Marcie Urgo
Cosmetic Specialist & Events Coordinator
Marcie brings more than 25 years of management, marketing and public relation skills in the non-profit and for-profit fields. Her career has spanned many years of cosmetic sales, makeup artistry, and retail management, including multi-store management, buying, merchandising, and operations. Most recently, Marcie has built a network of business and personal contacts in the Sussex County area planning events for non profit groups utilizing social media marketing, advertising, and community networking. Marcie is also the co-founder of Chicks for Charity of Southern Delaware, established in July of 2010.
Brie Kormanik

Marketing Coordinator
Brie is a native Delawarean and was a stay-at-home mom for her 2 children until 2013. She then returned to the workforce and took the position of office manager in a Rehoboth medical spa for 6 years. Wanting to increase her knowledge of the aesthetic world and apply her many talents to a larger facility, she joined the Aesthetic Center in August 2020. Brie has a background as a makeup artist, social media influencer and promotional event planning as well as dabbling in real estate acquisition. In her free time she enjoys travelling with her husband, especially to Barbados! Brie looks forward to meeting clients and scheduling their appointments, helping plan monthly specials and fun, informative events at the Aesthetic Center.
Lynn Houska
Reception
Lynn joins the Aesthetic Center with over 30 years of Administrative Management with both the private and public sector. Lynn has worked with DELDOT, several engineering firms and most recently, People with Disabilities.
After retiring, Lynn was looking for an opportunity to work with people in self improvement and bring the beauty to each person and the Aesthetic Center is a perfect fit for her.
